Vitamin B6 Deficiency
Vitamin B6 comprises six compounds – pyridoxal, pyridoxine, pyridoxamine, and their respective 5’phosphates. Vitamin B6, or pyridoxine, plays a role in the metabolism of amino acids and lipids, and also in the production of neurotransmitters and haemoglobin. It is well known in replenishing human skin and mitigating clinical symptoms of skin disorders, including eczema and dermatitis. Vitamin B6 deficiency often manifest as skin lesions, depression, and high blood pressure.
