General
Genetic screening uses advanced genomics technologies to detect known genetic mutations, also known as genetic markers, in your DNA. These markers are associated with a wide range of attributes related to disease risks, and conditions related to wellness and fitness, skin health, fitness among a range of other applications which are still being discovered today. In addition, genetic markers may also identify traits associated with personality, cognitive and behaviors. In simple terms, genetic screening helps you to know your genetic strengths and weaknesses.
Genetic screening is important for a number of reasons:
- You can only discover your particular set of genetic strengths and weaknesses by doing a genetic screening test.
- This information can empower you to make informed decisions about your health and wellness.
- These informed decisions include personalizing the following:
- The content and frequency of your health check ups
- Your supplement regime and diet
- Your skin care regime, including products and treatments
- Your fitness and exercise regime
A blood test is generally used to determine the state of the body at a certain point in time. For example, blood tests may be used to determine a person’s cholesterol levels, however, these results can be influenced by what a person ate recently.
A genetic screening test looks for genetic markers that were present since birth. Since these markers do not change over time, a genetic screening test only needs to be done once in a person’s lifetime. Genetic screening can be used to determine a person’s genetic risks for specific conditions.
Genetic screening is absolutely safe. Samples can be collected using a saliva sample, which is non-invasive.
Yes, the results of this genetic screening test are protected by the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Your personal information will strictly not be sold or released to any other party for any purpose.
No, a genetic screening test need only be performed once in an individual’s lifetime. However, you can do a different genetic screening test that covers a different area of your health.
At a minimum, each report will include:
- Information on the genetic markers found in your DNA;
- The impact of these markers on your disease risk, drug risk or health trait
The genetic screening reports will never contain the diagnosis of a disease or health trait.
The tests are accurate for known genetic markers. The analytical accuracy of the tests are >99%.
Genetic screening tests are not diagnostic tests. They test for risk not presence of disease. Also, a negative test result does not mean a person will never get the disease (which can also be influenced by environmental, lifestyle and other factors).

You may purchase more than 1 saliva collection kit. However, each kit may only be registered to only one (1) account. For example, if you have purchased 1x For Him, 1x For Her, and 1x For Kids, you will receive 3 saliva collection kits in total, and you will need to register a total of three (3) accounts in Qodify. One account may only be assigned to one kit.
All selected screenings are final, and you will not be able to change the list of screenings for the selected plan during your purchase. You may however choose to purchase additional screenings from our website by going to “Qodify Marketplace”.
Once your initial results have been generated, you will be able to purchase additional screening reports within the Qodify Marketplace that is accessible only via your Qodify account.
At current time, our system does not allow for a customizable plan. We may offer this as an option in the future.
RESAMPLING POLICY
Qodify may be unable to successfully extract DNA from the sample provided to our lab due to various reasons, which can include insufficient DNA in sample, degradation of sample, contamination of sample, failed sample QC check or incorrect sample collection method used.
In this event, Qodify reserves the right to conduct a resampling of the Customer’s DNA sample for a maximum number of two (2) times per product / kit at no cost to the Customer. Customer will be notified and a new sample kit will be sent to the same registered address.
REFUNDS & EXHANGE POLICY
Qodify does not offer refunds or returns for any products that have been sold via its website or any other portal(s) or website(s) affiliated to it for any reason whatsoever due to the nature of the product which requires strict regulation surrounding its safety, logistics and processing.
On the other hand, if a Customer receives a test kit which is damaged or have received our product in defect with verifiable proof of the product’s defect upon receipt, Qodify will exchange or replace the test kit at no cost to the Customer for a maximum number of two (2) times per product / kit purchase, verified by its barcode identifier (ID).
During the process of claiming your product exchange, please take a screenshot / picture of the product barcode ID, write in your order details with the order number and contact details of the purchaser.
Any request for defective product exchange must be made no later than 10 business days from the purchase date.
Qodify does not issue any cash or credit refunds.
DELIVERY POLICY
When an order has been placed and payment received by our Customer, an email confirmation will be sent to the registered email as provided on the ‘Shipping Details’ in the checkout section of Qodify’s website. The kit will then be dispatched by our delivery partner within 2 business days. Expected standard delivery times for the DNA sample collection kit sent from Malaysia are as follows:

Standard delivery charges applicable for all orders and are calculated during checkout. The DNA sample collection kit will also include a return envelope with a ziplock bag envelope for the sample to be collected by our delivery partner from your original shipment location to Qodify’s lab. Return shipment for all of Qodify’s products ordered from https://www.qodify.life/ is free up to a maximum of two (2) collections per product per order made, subject to our Refunds and Exchange policy.
If the DNA sample collection kit is not returned to Qodify’s lab within three (3) months from the original order date, the sample collection kit will expire and order considered cancelled. Any kit replacement and exchanges will be subject to Qodify’s management approval and the Refunds and Exchange policy.
